Aspire from NEC allows you to converge your voice and data
network and enjoy the many advantages of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
while enjoying the hundreds of features you’ve come to expect from traditional
digital/analog switching. Aspire lets your organization
benefit from the
potential cost-saving advantages of IP even if you’re not ready to migrate to
100% IP Telephony immediately.
That’s because Aspire gives you a choice:
You can deploy traditional circuit-switched technology, VoIP or
a combination, all from one system!
You have the freedom to adopt VoIP when and
where you need it.
“Peer-to-peer” switching
means that the stations participating in a call are connected directly to each
other through the IP network.
The signals travel through the IP network but do
not “go through” the switch as they do in traditional telephony.
The fact that
Aspire can function in and support a “hybrid” network with traditional
digital/analog switching, IP/TDM/IP switching and pure peer-to peer.
IP
switching means that users can continue to utilize their existing equipment
while they begin to phase in IP Telephony
and lay the foundation for current and
future networks.
While organizations seek additional features to address these
needs, they also expect improved efficiency, economy and convenience.
NEC’s
voice mail applications, AspireMail and AspireMail DMS, are better able to
meet these expectations because they are digitally linked in the Aspire
platform.
Digital integration brings increased speed and accuracy to your voice
mail system. And since both Aspire Mail systems mount inside the Aspire cabinet,
they are easy to install.
Introducing AspireMail DMS......
Desktop Messaging

Prioritize messages and respond to customers and coworkers
more quickly with the
power, speed and simplicity of Desktop Messaging. With Desktop Messaging, your

email and voice mail. Aspire Mail DMS Desktop Messaging also lets you extend the distribution power in your email
program to your voice messaging,
making it possible to quickly send voice
messages or documents to groups of co-workers. Aspire Mail DMS Desktop Messaging
can integrate with
various network and email platforms that are SMTP and IMAP4
compliant.
Desktop Call Control
Aspire Mail DMS Desktop Call Control gives you the convenience of managing
telephone calls from your PC as those calls are sent
to your telephone
extension. A Call Control user has several options for handling a call.

Aspire
S, NEC’s versatile integrated communication system, allows you to converge your
voice and data networks and enjoy the many advantages of
Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP), for the small office, home office or branch office as part of
an Aspire network.
The Aspire S
offers an integrated voice mail system called IntraMail in two sizes, 4 port/4
hour and 8 port/8 hour. Both systems support up to 152 mailboxes
and offer
interactive soft key operation on the display telephones. IntraMail’s integrated
features include Automated Attendant, which helps incoming calls
get answered
and routed quickly and efficiently, and Fax Detection, which maximizes use of
your telephone line.
